The manifesto

Software should help you think. Not demand your attention.

PROLOG is built on a small set of firm beliefs about work, attention, and improvement. This is the thinking behind every screen in the product.

What PROLOG is

PROLOG is not a productivity tracker. It is not a task manager. It is not a Pomodoro timer. It is not another dashboard full of graphs.

PROLOG is a Personal Productivity Intelligence platform. Its purpose is to help you understand how you spend your day, identify patterns in your behaviour, and continuously become better through intentional action.

It should function less like software and more like a thoughtful personal companion to improve your productivity.

The mission

Help people become better — a little every day, in how they spend their time.

Not by forcing productivity. Not by gamifying your day. Not by overwhelming you with statistics. But by helping you understand yourself.

Every feature in PROLOG must answer one question:

"Will this help the user become better?"

If the answer is no, the feature doesn't belong.

Calm software

PROLOG should never feel noisy. No unnecessary notifications. No achievement spam. No streak pressure. No dopamine mechanics.

The interface should feel calm, focused, and intentional. Like sitting in a quiet library.

Insight before metrics

Graphs alone do not improve behaviour. A metric earns its place only when it produces understanding. Every important number in PROLOG must answer: "So what?"

If a chart cannot lead to an action, it doesn't belong.

Action over observation

Observation creates awareness. Action creates improvement.

Instead of telling you "you were most productive between 9 and 11," PROLOG says "schedule tomorrow's most demanding tasks between 9 and 11." Every insight leads somewhere.

Continuous improvement

PROLOG is not about perfection. It is about becoming slightly better every day. Small improvements repeated consistently outperform dramatic changes. The Butterfly Effect, you know!

The measure of success

The product does not succeed when you spend more time inside it.

It succeeds when you spend more time doing meaningful work outside it.

That is the ultimate measure.
